We continue to seek signatures for the Petition to Reinstate, which asks for the reinstatement of the SFAI tenured faculty members who received layoff notices.  Over 1200 persons have signed the Petition so far!  (Hardcopy petitions are also circulating.)  Signatories of the petition include writer Maxine Kingston, the Dean of School of Film/Video at CalArts Steve Anker, SFAI luminary professor and poet Bill Berkson, former SFAI President Stephen Goldstine, and many others artists, scholars and concerned individuals.  (For a summary of notable signatories as of May 28, 2009, click HERE. )
